Dr. Roland and his staff enhance the personalization of your dental experience by using the latest dental technology: digital radiography (x-rays), intraoral cameras, computerized patient management software, and an interactive website.

Digital radiography (x-rays): This technology allows Dr. Roland to see inside the tooth.

After the digital x-ray is taken, the image appears on a computer screen near the patient's chair. Dr. Roland can then enlarge or colorize the tooth to highlight problem areas. Digital x-rays are safer for the patient than the older, conventional radiography film because the digital machine emits up to 90 percent less radiation and because the digital film needs no toxic chemicals to develop.

Intraoral cameras: See with your own eyes what your dentist and hygienist observe. The intraoral camera is a miniaturized camera that allows you to view the inside of your own mouth. You don’t have to wait until you are in pain to find out that you have a problem. The intraoral camera takes a picture of the outside of the tooth and can identify fractures and other conditions before these problems cause you pain and more serious harm.

Computerized Patient Software: Red tape and paperwork divert attention and resources away from what’s important: YOU! Our practice management software allows us to minimize insurance processing and other hassles thereby maximizing the time we can devote to your oral health. You can even choose to receive appointment reminders by email and by a text message to your cell phone in addition to the personal appointment reminder via telephone from one of our professional staff members.

Interactive Website: Our interactive internet website was designed to give you access to your account 24 hours a day seven days a week. It’s easy: just go to the ‘Patient Information’ section of our website and register for online account access. Once you have registered, you will be able to view your appointment schedule, complete forms, examine your treatment plan, and even make a payment online.
